Hostel
The RIGSS Coronation Hostel offers comfortable residential facilities with modern amenities, fostering an ideal environment for learning, reflection, and networking.
The historic Kharbandi Guest House, constructed in 1974 to accommodate foreign dignitaries attending the coronation of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, has been fully refurbished and renamed the RIGSS Coronation Hostel (RCH). Situated on a serene, green hillside, the hostel comprises twenty-four twin rooms and two suites. All rooms are furnished with attached bathrooms, hot and cold-water supply, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The hostel is equipped with a kitchen, dining hall, altar room (choesham), fitness centre, and indoor recreational facilities. A multi-purpose recreation room with cable television and snooker facilities, as well as a conference hall with a seating capacity of 25–30 persons, are also available.
All RIGSS programmes are fully residential, with participants accommodated at RCH in an environment conducive to learning, reflection, and networking. Shuttle services operate between the hostel and the institute for the convenience of participants.
