Course Launched: 26^th July 2015

The Bhutan Executive Services Training (BEST) is a two-week training program on leadership competency development, exclusively designed for executives in the civil service. BEST was proposed for by the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) as part of its larger leadership development initiatives for the civil service. The course is based on RCSC’s Leadership Capability Framework.

The BEST curriculum encompasses five broad leadership capability areas (strategic view, achieving results, cultivating productive working relationship, exemplifying personal drive and integrity, and communicating effectively). It covers modules on leadership, professionalism and ethics, communication and presentation skills, negotiation skills, mindfulness and emotional intelligence, and decision-making.

BEST is expected to equip civil service executives with the latest leadership skills, insight and tools to enhance leadership effectiveness and organizational performance.
