Today, on the 5th September 2025, RIGSS brings to you a special episode to mark the first Raising Day of Gyalsung – Bhutan’s National Service. We celebrate and honor this historic milestone with great admiration and gratitude to His Majesty The King for the vision that will endure as a truly transformative force and a shining symbol of our shared hopes for Bhutan's future.

This visionary initiative has not only equipped our youth with essential life skills but has also sparked a deeper sense of purpose, discipline, and pride in serving the Tsa-Wa-Sum. May the journey ahead continue to be filled with unwavering courage and growth, rooted in service.

RIGSS is proud to partner with Gyalsung to provide courses in leadership skills across all the academies. The RIGSS sessions at the Gyalsung Academies are aligned with the Royal vision and designed to build greater confidence and to equip our youth with the mindset and tools needed to become conscientious, dependable, and contributory citizens.

As we travelled across the country visiting the Academies, we were deeply moved by the depth and scale of the Royal vision. Interacting with our youth from across the nation and those living abroad was a deeply emotional experience.
