RIGSS is pleased to announce the names of the 26 candidates selected for the Seventh Young Professionals Leadership Program (YPLP-7). Selected candidates will receive a “Letter of Offer” from the Institute soon. In case a selected candidate is not able to participate, he/she is required to inform the course coordinator, Ms. Thinlay Zangmo immediately through email or phone call ( or 17700020), and the slot will be given to a standby candidate chosen as per merit.

Third RIGSS Dialogue

The Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies in Phuentsholing is pleased to announce that “The 3rd RIGSS Dialogue” will be held at the institute on 10th October 2018 from 6 pm. Professor Michael S. Strano from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will be in conversation with the RIGSS Director, Zimpon Wom Chewang Rinzin on “Light Emitting Plants”, one of the latest scientific creations initiated by MIT researchers.

Professor Strano has been listed in Popular Science’s “Brilliant 10” in 2009 and amongst the “world’s most influential scientific minds” in 2016.
